Collaborating with designers allows use
to be exposed to new materials.  This
conference table used FinPly, a
concrete form material, and allowed us
to extend the cantilever on the corners.
The designer's aesthetic was very
sparse and strongly inspired by Asian
design.  Here we used the same
material used for the conference table
and added simple sliding doors.
This large sectional couch provided
many challenge
including untrue walls
and uneven floors.  For the most part
installation can be more challenging
than the fabrication process.
This bed was made from solid cherry
and has built-in night stands on either
side of the mattress.  Again execution
of a simple design is often more
difficult than and ornate piece.
Molding can hide flaws.
Once we have had a chance to build a
couple of pieces for a client we are
better able to intuit his design
objectives.  This ongoing collaboration
improves the execution of the final
product.
Clean and simple does not mean a
piece cannot be interesting.  Here a
simple box is highlighted by chamfered
edges.
