Located in downtown Los
Angeles, Bombshell
Studios is a small audio
studio which produces
music and musical scores
for movies, television and
commercials.  Henri Yonet
came to use with a draft
for a mixing table.  He
had specific
measurements to slot his
equipment but wanted a
layout that could
accommodate his
equipment.

We spent considerable
time working with Henri
to make certain the
design worked properly
ergonomically.  We
decided to use a phenolic
resin impregnated baltic
birch which is extremely
rigid and water proof.
This is the same material
used for concrete forms.
The bays for the
equipment use standard
mounting hardware so
the configuration can be
changed according to the
client's needs.  The top of
each bay is hinged so
there is easy access for
the wiring in the back of
each piece of equipment.
View of the console
before installation.
Cut-out "mouse hole" for
cords and additional
storage in the bases
provides the client with
necessary storage.
